My name is Neil Dawson.  I am 36 and I live in Hove and am originally from Boston in Lincolnshire.  I am doing the Coast to Coast as my challenge for 2008.  I haven't ridden a bike in anger for about 6 years, so this could be interesting as I understand that the route is a bit hilly.  The idea to do this ride was mine, so I take full responsibility for all of the pain that is heading our way between now and the end of the ride in July.

 
Hello everybody I'm Hywel Williams. I'm 32 years old. I like cycling and steep hills...perfect.  My last serious bike ride was the South Dows Way over two days in June 2007.
 
 
 
Hi, my name is Neil Busby or Buzz to all my friends.  In the distant past, I used to take part in marathon mountain bike races and have other types of endurance competitions but have until recently taken the path of laziness and slobbing instead. 

This ride has given me the drive I needed to not only loose weight (coming up to 2 stone now) but also made me interested in a variety other sports, one of which is Kitesurfing, so if the ride doesn't kill me the Kitesurfing definitely will. 



Anthony is my favourite to achieve most things first during the ride.  I am sure that he will be the first person to fall off, to break a limb, to get a puncture, to get lost and to turn up late on most occasions.

The last time I wenting biking with him he fell off and the fist thing that he grabbed hold of on the way to the floor was an electric fence.  5 consecutive days on a bike should produce a few similar incidents.
